  2. 500,000 readers isn’t alot when you consider the readership of many large newspapers. Reddit is overwhelmingly liberal (with a libertarian bent). I don’t see alot of people converting on Reddit, it’s more preaching to the choir. It’s user driven, which may suggest that they are more ‘evangelical’ than standard news outlets. It’d only be useful to a liberal politician (say, Rep. Weiner) who could get people working on their behalf. I’d imagine data gathering would be similar to this –
