get a spray bottle and fill it with vinegar, when you cats get into your plants squirt them with it. cats despise vinegar and it won’t hurt them at all. it won’t take them long to realize that getting into your plants means they have to lick vinegar off their fur.
Put a couple of moth balls around them for a couple of days.
plant a pot of Catnip and place it ….a good distance from your other plants
Supposedly cats hate the scent of citrus, but I’d check first to see if it’s safe for the plants. Also some books recommend mustard to keep cats from biting things, but on my mom’s old wicker table the cat just said, “More mustard, please!” Not only did it not stop her, she liked it!
add chunks of soap to your palnts on top of the soil.
Tabasco sauce on the leaves worked for me. They will sputter, so have a lot of water out, but it was the last time they chewed on the plants.
Plant some cat grass and some cat nip and put it in a place just for the cats, they’ll love it.
